What’s Going on in KidQuest (Children’s Ministry)?

SUNDAYS IN KIDQUEST

During weekend services, The Crossroads Children’s Ministry provides an exciting and authentic experience for children (from birth through 6th grade) including innovative worship, hands-on activities, and creative Bible teaching. Join us this weekend and let your children get plugged into a thrilling encounter with God.

Early Childhood

Nursery (birth thru 2 years)

Our nursery provides a great place for your child to come and feel loved in a caring environment. Our Nursery workers will give your child the attention they need with a low child to caregiver ratio. You can feel comfortable in knowing that you will be provided with a pager for your child in case a need arises. The nursery caregiver can then page you promptly if needed. The nursery is located right in the worship building.

2 and 3 year olds

Our 2 & 3 year olds will have a God- filled hour that will last them all week. Our rooms are staffed with caring volunteers who have a passion to teach the word of God and to show His love. Each week your child will be encouraged to have fun, learn a Bible truth, and discover God.

Pre-K

Our 4-5 year olds enjoy small group time where they listen to Bible Stories, enjoy activities, and learn Bible Verses. Our teachers, teach with a purpose in mind. This encourages a child to believe God Made Me, God Loves Me, and Jesus Wants to be My Friend Forever.

Kindergarten thru 6th grade

K thru 6th grade

Our vision at KIDQuest is to teach each child three basic truths. These truths are Wisdom, Faith and Friendship. “Jesus grew is wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.”( Luke 2:52 NIV ) We teach children they can make wise choices, trust in God no matter what, and treat others the way they want to be treated.

Our mission at KIDQuest is to encourage each child to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. “For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16,NIV) Our mission is to teach each child to be more like God so that they can use those qualities to go out and change the world around us.

We offer a fun-filled Sunday Children’s Service to accomplish this goal. On Sunday we offer:

Worship with Fun, Godly Music
Bible-story Drama
Large Worship prayer time
Break out into small groups to dig deeper into the lesson each week
Children take-home GodTime card to be completed during the week.
