About

I’m New.
What to expect.

Don’t worry, there’s no secret handshake. Everyone is new sometime and we want it to be a great experience for you. Dress how you like, relax with a coffee or iced tea from our Koina cafe (it’s FREE!), enjoy the music, and don’t feel like you’re supposed to give anything. We’re here to serve you, and help you get more out of life this week.

If you have kids, bring them along and we’ll keep them in a safe environment with leaders that are dedicated to creating a fun and educational environment. They can play and learn while you hear inspirational truth designed to help you on your journey with God.

Our Story.
Who We Have Become.

The vision for The Crossroads began over breakfast at IHOP (possibly stuffed crepes, we honestly don’t remember) as a handful of people began to dream of a community of authentic Christ-followers in the north valley. As the vision was shared, God brought additional people into place to create the framework for a church that launched Christmas Eve, 2004.

From the beginning, the Crossroads has endeavored to learn from the successes of other organizations while pioneering new avenues into relevant ministry. As a result, we are largely driven through volunteers, flexible strategies and passionate energy to be like Christ and show Him to the people that are in our lives. Even now as we seek a larger space in which to celebrate the work that God is doing, He continues to show us that the place you worship is less important than how you are changed by truth. He continues to write our story, showing us opportunities, shepherding us through difficulties, and giving us new relationships through which we can bless others. We look forward to the next chapter…

Our Beliefs

At Crossroads we believe theology is vitally important. What we believe about God and his Word provides the foundation and guide for everything in our lives. Our Statement of Faith details the central beliefs of our church.

Our Locations.

The Crossroads will always be a place about people and not about facilities, but it’s a reality that we’ve got to meet somewhere. The two locations currently in use by The Crossroads represent two big needs that any organization will have: the need for a home base, and the need to gather everyone together. Each Sunday morning, the people of The Crossroads join together at Anthem Elementary School for a celebration of God’s work in their life.

Most of the time, though, the work of the church can be carried out on a much smaller scale, without requiring the resources for a larger facility. Koina cafe is our home base, where we can house offices and hold meetings, host classes and community groups, and have a mid-week home for our youth. The coffee shop is open Monday – Friday and is a great place to meet with friends in a relaxed atmosphere, or to bring a laptop and get some work done.
